To open Whatsapp settings :

 Open Whatsapp --> click on 3 dots on top right corner --> click on settings.  

Privacy settings

1.To open privacy settings -- Settings -->Account-->Privacy

1.Last Seeen

     If you don't want others to see your last seen you can do 2 things

     a. In last seen change everyone to My contacts then your contacts will only know your last seen.

     b. or you can change to nobody then no one can see your last seen.

2.Profile Photo

   Similarly, as above you can set who can view your profile. I recommend you to set at least to My contacts.

3.About

  It's your wish you can write anything there except your sensitive info like passwords.

4.Status

  You can share your status updates with your friends by selecting or excluding them.

5.Read recipients

   You might have observed two blue ticks when you have sent a message to your friend, If you turn off read recipients you are no longer can view blue ticks i.e your friend cant know whether you have read his/her message.

6.Groups

    Here you can set who can add you in groups. It is better to set at least to My contacts. 

7.Live location         

     You can check here whether you have shared your live location with any of your contacts.        

              

8.Blocked contacts

     You can block contacts with who you don't like to interact as shown in the above top right pic or you can also do the same in the particular chat UI(user interface).

9.Fingerprint lock

    To increase the privacy of your Whatsapp, you can enable the fingerprint option so that you have to verify fingerprint security at regular intervals to open Whatsapp

Chats settings

 

Theme:

Here you can change the color of Whatsapp to either light or dark.

Wallpaper :

Here you can change the wallpaper of all your chats UI(user interface). If you wish to add different wallpaper for different chats go to that particular chatbox and tap on 3 dots on the top right corner then select desired wallpaper.

 

Enter is send:                                            

If you turn it on then pressing enter button will send your message instead of going to the next line.
